NTPC REL & Tripura Govt signs MoU for developing renewable energy

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NTPC REL) and the Government of Tripura signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the development of floating and ground-based renewable energy projects in the State of Tripura. The MoU begins the process of developing large-scale renewable energy projects in the Tripura and will assist the Tripura government in fulfilling its commitments and duties related to clean energy.

Rajiv Gupta, Chief General Manager of NTPC REL, and Mahananda Debbarma, Director General and CEO of the Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency, signed the Memorandum of Understanding. With the signing of this MoU, the State of Tripura will begin the process of developing large-scale renewable energy projects, which will assist the Tripura government in fulfilling its commitments and duties related to clean energy.

The MoU was signed in the presence of the Tripuran government's top officials, including Chief Minister Manik Saha, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma, Secretary for Power Brijesh Pandey, and others. CK Mondal, Director of Commercial, J Srinivasan, Director of Finance, and Mohit Bhargava, CEO of NTPC REL, were in attendance on behalf of NTPC Ltd.
