BTL EPC receives order from BHEL for Ash Handling System in Telangana

The Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited (TSGENCO) 5 x 800 MW Super Critical Thermal Power Plant at Yadadri in the Nalgonda district of Telangana will have an Ash Handling System installed by BTL EPC Ltd, the engineering division of the Kolkata-based Shrachi Group, under a contract valued at INR 44.6 billion including GST. The system includes bottom ash handling, economizer ash handling, coarse ash removal, dry fly ash evacuation through vacuum and pressure conveying, as well as high concentration slurry disposal system (HCSD).

BTL EPC Ltd. MD Ravi Todi commented on the company's recent order success: "We registered turnover of more than INR 3.3 billion in FY 2021-22 and maintaining a robust order book position of more than INR 18 billion.” A few examples include the coal handling plant at the 2 x 660 MW Ennore SEZ Super Critical Thermal Power Plant in Chennai, which is valued at INR 1.56 billion, and the Area Handling & Bagging Plant at Talcher Fertilizer in Odisha, which is valued at INR 1.43 billion.
