2.5 km road flyover will be built below Mumbai Metro Line 6

To provide additional transportation options, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) will construct a combined road flyover that will span 2.58 kilometers below the elevated Metro Line 6 (Swami Samarth Nagar to Vikhroli) at a common pier in the road median.

Jogeshwari, WEH, and Powai are all included in the elevated Mumbai Metro 6 corridor, which spans 15.31 kilometers and will connect four other metro corridors, including Metro Line 2A (Dahisar to DN Nagar), Metro 3 Colaba Bandra SEEPZ, Metro 4 (Wadala – Kasarvadavali), and Metro 7 (Andheri (East) – Dahisar (East), as well as two suburban railway stations, Jogeshwar

In the meantime, the rail line will handle 7.69 lakh daily ridership by 2031 thanks to its integration with other metro lines and railway stations. MMRDA officials asserted that the construction of a metro depot on Kanjurmarg salt pan land could potentially ensure the completion of this line. The commercial operation of metro lines 6, 4, and 5 may be delayed due to the lack of depot land, despite the fact that the civil works are currently underway.

The MMRDA is building a 15.31-kilometer Metro line that will run from Swami Samarth Nagar to Vikhroli (EEH), passing through Jogeshwari, WEH, and Powai. It will be operational. The elevated corridor known as JVLR, which will connect Mumbai's North-South and East-West regions with the Western and Eastern Express Highways, will comprise the majority of the line.

Railway services will be provided to governmental, commercial, and geographically significant areas by Metro Line 6.
