Kobelco's Next-Generation SK350LC-11 Excavator Gets new cab and engine
Kobelco has unveiled the next-generation SK350LC-11 excavator, which has more lift power and torque. The new 265-horsepower Tier 4 Final Isuzu engine weighs 84,200 pounds and produces 745 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm, giving it the power and torque to lift heavy loads and operate large tools around the jobsite. According to the company, the balance of engine output and torque contributes to more efficient performance than previous models.
The SK350-11 increases productivity by moving more material at the end of the day when combined with boom-to-arm regeneration and swing priority hydraulics.
While travelling, the excavator can perform lift, swing, and carry functions. Selecting the "Independent Travel" function, according to Kobelco, continuously dedicates one hydraulic pump to travel and one to the attachment, allowing for a smooth and constant speed even while swinging or using the boom or attachment.
The SK350LC-11 has three operating modes: Eco, S, and H, which balance high performance, economy, and low fuel consumption. When more muscle is required, the heavy-lift and power-boost features (with unlimited time use) can be activated.
Thicker side panels and a larger bucket cylinder pin have increased durability and performance.
