The Global Investors Summit was held in Lucknow earlier this month, and according to representatives of the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA), the organisation has already planned the groundwork for the investment proposals that were signed there.

The nodal body for building industrial infrastructure in the state has said that it will provide land and infrastructure facilities in its 154 industrial areas and land banks throughout Uttar Pradesh once two weeks have passed after the summit's completion.

An official claimed that the government signed MoUs with 512 investors at the World Investment Summit.

With 138 organisations in East UP, UPSIDA inked MoUs that resulted in investments of 778.480 billion.

These initiatives could result in the creation of more than 1.7 lakh new jobs.
