Goyal Aluminiums plans to set up EV plant in UP
Goyal Aluminiums intends to spend 2000 million to build an EV manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh. The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has given the company 4,000 square metres of land to use for the project.A business official told PTI on Wednesday that "Goyal Aluminiums is preparing to set up a new electric car manufacturing unit with an investment of Rs 200 crore."
The business has announced its entry into the electric vehicle market through its newly formed partnership Wroley E India.
"Scooters with low speeds and electricity will only be made for the domestic market. The Central Institute of Road Transport (CIRT) has already given the company the go-ahead to introduce the first high-speed electric scooter in April of this year "added the spokeswoman.
Plot 283 in GNIDA's industrial area, approximately 4,000 square metres, has been given to the business on a 90-year lease. By 2024, the company aims to have 150 dealers working in the EV market.
