Green flags to Rs 500 bn BPCL proposal for Bina refinery by MP govt

According to an official, the Madhya Pradesh Investment Promotion Committee, which is chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, on Tuesday, April 11 approved a revised proposal for the expansion of BPCL's Bina Refinery and the creation of a petrochemical project, amounting to Rs 430 to Rs 500 billion.

About 2000 young people are anticipated to receive jobs under the scheme, he said. The production will probably begin by the 2027–2028 fiscal year. The complex will create a variety of petroleum byproducts, including bitumen, benzene, ATF (aviation turbine fuel), HDPE (high-density polyethylene), LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene), and petrol, and diesel, among others.
