Kalpataru Power and its arms bag orders worth Rs 3,079 crore

So far this year, Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) and its subsidiaries have received orders totaling Rs 3,079 crore in March and April. Civil works for a data centre and buildings worth Rs 1,234 crore, an EPC (engineering procurement construction) order worth Rs 754 crore in the railway business, and water supply projects worth Rs 708 crore in India are among the orders.

It also won a Rs 233 crore residential and institutional building project in Africa, as well as orders worth Rs 150 crore in the T&D (transmission and distribution) business in international markets.

"In the month of March-23 and to date in April-23, KPTL and its international subsidiaries have secured new orders/notification of awards totaling Rs 3,079 crore," according to a company statement. "The orders in the Railway and Water business have enhanced the order book and improved our market position in these businesses," said Manish Mohnot, MD & CEO of KPTL. Our B&F business is expanding and diversifying its presence in new markets such as data centers, educational complexes, and institutional buildings."

KPTL is one of the world's largest specialised EPC firms, specialising in power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories (B&F), water supply and irrigation, railways, oil and gas pipelines, urban mobility (Flyovers & Metro Rail), highways and airports.
