Indian Railways to renovate New Bhuj station in Gujarat

Indian Railways is making significant changes to train stations all around the nation. The national transporter has identified 1,275 stations for modernisation and upkeep work under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

Gujarat is home to 87 stations in this context. New Bhuj Railway Station should be singled out among these. The Western Railway (WR) zone has control over the New Bhuj Railway Station.

The New Bhuj railway station is being constructed as a cutting-edge smart railway station with a Rann of Kutch motif.

The New Bhuj railway station's modernization project is currently in full swing. The anticipated cost of the station's renovation is Rs 1.79 billion. The construction should be finished within 24 months. It has been decided to use the Engineering Procurement and Construction mode (EPC).

The utility mapping, site survey, and geotechnical research have all been finished. The installation of the batching plant and the fabrication yard activities are now underway. Additionally, the main building is being demolished. New Bhuj railway station's design.

A scale model of the planned station has been placed on the station grounds by the zonal authority. This action attempts to provide rail users and travellers a sense of the upcoming station.
