Bakarpur-Manikpur section four-laning bids are being sought by NHAI

Under the Bharatmala Pariyojna, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued an invitation for bids for the building of four lanes on the Bakarpur-Manikpur road segment at NH- 139W in Bihar. The project's scope calls for four-laning the Bakarpur-Manikpur road segment from the village of Chitarsenpur (km 0+00) to SH-74 close to Manikpur (km 38+814) at NH-139W. It is estimated that 38.814 kilometres of length will be covered in total. Additionally, it includes the building and/or repair of large and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, drains, and other structures. It also includes the construction of new pavement and the rehabilitation of existing pavement. The cost is expected to be Rs. 8.71 billion and the deadline to submit a bid is June 7, 2023.
