PM Modi to dedicate projects worth Rs 113.55 bn in Hyderabad

The second (semi-high-speed) Vande Bharat express (Secunderabad-Tirupati) from Secunderabad of Hyderabad to Tirupati was inaugurated on 8 April 2023 among other projects by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a ceremony in Hyderabad that will cost Rs 113.55 billion.

PM Modi laid the foundations for six National Highway (NH) projects and the redevelopment and modernisation of the Secunderabad railway station during his visit to Hyderabad. These projects are expected to cost Rs 7.15 billion and Rs 78.64 billion respectively. The doubling work on the Secunderabad-Mahabubnagar railway line which cost around Rs 14.10 billion and various development projects at Bibinagar and AIIMS which cost approximately Rs 13.66 billion are also expected to be inaugurated.
