Nashik Smart City Corporation Extends June Deadline for 171 projects

The corporation has said that the extension was granted due to delays in the procurement of materials and the execution of work. The corporation has also said that it is working to fast-track the completion of the projects.

The 171 projects are part of the Smart Cities Mission, a national program launched by the Government of India in 2015. The mission aims to make 100 cities in India "smart" by 2022.

The Nashik Smart City Corporation has so far completed 92 projects under the mission. The remaining 89 projects are expected to be completed by December.

The completion of these projects will help to improve the infrastructure and livability of Nashik city. The projects include the development of roads, public toilets, and smart city infrastructure such as smart street lighting, smart parking, and smart waste management.

The Nashik Smart City Corporation is a public-private partnership between the Nashik Municipal Corporation and the Government of India. The corporation is responsible for the implementation of the Smart Cities Mission in Nashik city.

The corporation has said that it is committed to completing the 171 projects by December. The corporation has also said that it is working to fast-track the completion of the projects and to ensure that they are of high quality.
