VE Commercial Vehicles sells 6289 units in May 2023

VE Commercial Vehicles (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales of 6289 units in May 2023 as compared to 5,637 units in May 2022 recording a growth of 11.6 per cent. This includes 6076 units of the Eicher brand and 213 units of the Volvo brand.

Following are the key highlights for May 2023:

• Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 6,076 units in May 2023 as compared to 5504 units in May 2022 representing a growth of 10.4 per cent.

• In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 5,826 units in May 2023 as compared to 5033 units in May 2022, representing a growth of 15.8 per cent.

• On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 250 units in May 2023 as compared to 471 units in May 2022, representing a decline of 46.9 per cent

• Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses have recorded sales of 213 units in May 2023 as compared to 133 units in May 2022, representing a growth of 60.2 per cent.
