TNHB Petition Box Open for Beneficiaries in Trichy

A petition box has been established in the Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) Office enabling beneficiaries in five districts, including Trichy, to file complaints regarding difficulties in obtaining registration paperwork and allotment orders for housing units.

The petition box will be open for a month at the TNHB office in Trichy, near the KK Nagar police station, and the petitions will be submitted to a special cell in Chennai for resolution within a month.

According to TNHB officials, some of the recipients may be staying in TNHB-developed dwelling units while simply having an allotment order.

As the sale deed document is also necessary, officials said that beneficiaries requiring such crucial documents can drop a grievance in the petition box to find a swift solution.

“A committee in Chennai appointed by the state government will inquire about the petitions, and they will decide whether a solution for the petition could be provided or not. The box will be available at the TNHB office till JUne 30,” a representative of TNHB said.

The opportunity is open to residents of Ariyalur, Perambalur, Pudukottai, Karur, and Trichy. Petitions on housing unit allocations in upcoming projects can also be submitted. These petition boxes are located in 16 different places throughout the state.
