50% rebate on stamp duty for integrated township projects

Developers of integrated township projects will receive a one-time 50% stamp duty discount from the state government. According to a revenue department official, the concession can be used for either the acquisition of land or the sale of units, but not for both. On June 20, a government resolution (GR) was published that announced such projects will receive concessions throughout the state, except for Mumbai City, Lonavla Hill Station, and Eco-Sensitive Areas. According to the GR, the concession will be offered to projects that have been approved by the authority retroactively as of 2018.

A "city within a city," an integrated township consists of a conglomerate of residential, commercial, educational, and healthcare facilities, as well as the related transportation and utility infrastructure.
