Maha CM lays foundation stone of development works in Nanded

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde laid the foundation stone for various development works worth Rs. 436.48 crore under Nanded Waghala City Municipal Corporation includes road development works along with strengthening of sewerage channels in the city.
MP Pratap Patil Chikhlikar, MP Hemant Patil, MLA Ram Patil Ratolikar, MLA Balaji Kalyankar, Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Dr. Mahesh Kumar Doifode, Additional Commissioner Girish Kadam were present on this occasion.
Fund of Rs 329.16 crore has been sanctioned for the strengthening and connection of sewerage channels in Nanded city under Amrit 2.0 Mission sponsored by the Central Government. In this way, new sewerage channels will be constructed in the areas that do not yet have sewerage channels in the city. Also, in the areas where the sewerage channel has fallen into disrepair, the old channel will be replaced by new sewerage channel.
A total length of 430 km of underground sewage canal will be connected through this. It also includes various machinery in sewage treatment plant. Rs 107.32 crore of funds for Nanded City Road Development Project under Maharashtra Suvarna Jayanti Urban Development Mahabhiyan has been approved.
The works of 182 roads in Nanded Waghala City Municipal Corporation limits will be done from this fund. Bhoomipujan of both these development works done by Shinde on today.
