NTPC Subsidiary Invites Bids to Develop Solar Project

The establishment of a 1.5 MW grid-connected solar power project at IIM Bodh Gaya has been put out to bid by enlisted developers through NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN), a totally owned subsidiary of NTPC.

The design, engineering, supply, building, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar power project are all included in the scope of the work.

Additionally, the selected developer will be in charge of installing the evacuation system to the IIM- Bodhgaya substation, meeting the given capacity, gaining DISCOM's approval for net metering, and securing the required permits for the overhead and subterranean transmission lines.

For a period of three years, the project requires the operation and maintenance of the solar power system, transmission lines, and other equipment.

Additionally, it includes a ten-year annual maintenance contract (AMC) for the necessary equipment. On or before July 3, 2023, proposals must be submitted.
