EESL invites bids for polycrystalline solar modules

Energy Efficiency Services (EESL) has invited bids for the supply of 28.72 MW of polycrystalline solar modules with a wattage output of 330 Wp and above for solar power projects in Maharashtra. The last date to submit the bids is August 8, 2023. Bids will be opened on the same day.

Bidders must submit Rs 13.04 million ($158,908) as an earnest money deposit. The successful bidder will have to submit an amount equivalent to 10% of the contract price as a performance security within 28 days after the receipt of the notification of award. The modules must be delivered within three months from the award notification.

Only Class-I local suppliers will be eligible to bid under this tender. The local content requirement to categorise a supplier as a Class-I local supplier is a minimum of 50%. Bidders should be manufacturers of solar cells or modules and have experience in manufacturing and supplying at least 8.62 MW of solar modules with a wattage output of 330 Wp and above during the last three years.
