Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran announces tenders for 163.52 MW Solar Projects

Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nogam has released three tenders inviting bids for the installation and commissioning of 65 grid connected solar projects, with a total capacity of 163.52 MW, in different subdivisions of Sri Ganganagar Circle. These tenders fall under Component-C of the PM-KUSUM program. The solar projects will be developed under the RESCO model, with capacities of 20.16 MW, 64.26 MW, and 79 MW.

The deadline for submitting bids for the 20.16 MW solar projects is August 29, 2023, and the bid opening date is September 1, 2023. For the 64.26 MW projects, bids must be submitted by September 4, 2023, and the bid opening date is September 6, 2023. Bidders interested in the 79 MW solar projects have until September 5, 2023, to submit their bids, and the bid opening date is September 8, 2023.

To participate in any of the three tenders, bidders are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 100,000 per MW of the capacity they quote.

The selected bidder will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the solar projects for a period of 25 years.

Upon winning the bid, the successful bidder will enter into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam to formalise the terms of the project.
