L&T gets contract to build international cricket stadium

The Buildings & Factories Division of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Construction has received orders worth between Rs 1,000 crore and Rs 2,500 crore, including one from the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association for the Design & Build Turnkey Construction of a Cricket Stadium in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.An international-level cricket stadium will be built in Kashi City by the end of the next year, according to previous media sources. There will be 30,000 fans in the stadium.
The main field in accordance with ICC standards, a display scoreboard, flood lights, corporate boxes, VIP lounges, office rooms, broadcasting, press conference areas, kitchen & eating areas, and a practice field are all included in L&T's scope of work, according to the company.
