Chamba constituency receives Rs 793.2 mn for Road Development

The Chamba Assembly constituency is set to witness significant road development as the state government has allocated a sum of Rs 793.2 million. This funding is designated for the enhancement of road infrastructure in the area, falling under the ambit of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).

Neeraj Nayar, the MLA of Chamba, addressed the media and shared that the approved detailed project report (DPR) for the initial phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Phase-III has encompassed eight crucial road projects within the constituency for the ongoing financial year.

Among the projects that have been included in the PMGSY Phase-III are the Parel-Kohaldi, Sahu-Protha-Padhar, Chamba-Banikhet above Parel, Bhanera-Devidehra-Rathiyar-Mankot, Rajera-Dulara, Luddu-Bharamani, Sarahan-Ran, and Chamba-Shahpur-Sihunta-Chuwari link roads, as revealed by Nayar.
