Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy said the TSUISL has announced that its infrastructure laying work is underway to ensure that the residents receive electricity and water connection at the earliest.

He added that the residents of Jojobera area will have tap water supply within six months. He stated that the people living in Babudih, Lal Bhatta, Bhuyadih, and neighboring areas will soon receive tap water supply as the business has started the pipeline installation work.

"A supply line malfunction had an impact on the flow of water to the homes, but the issue has been resolved.

A similar issue was observed in the Prem Nagar neighborhood of Burma. That has also been resolved, he said.

The MLA spoke with the MD of the TSUISL, Rituraj Sinha, earlier on Tuesday to discuss the status of the projects the business is working on pertaining to civic facilities. After the pipeline installation work is finished, the procedure of supplying new connections to the homes in all the slum areas will be accelerated, he added.
