EV maker Tork Motors partner with Bolt.Earth for charging points infra

Bolt.Earth, which currently operates in more than 1,100 cities across India, will extend its network to serve Tork customers. Both Tork Motors and Bolt.Earth are proud members of the Bharat Charge Alliance, a collective initiative dedicated to delivering interoperable DC charging infrastructure for light electric vehicles.
The primary goal of this partnership is to provide flexibility to Tork's customer base, ensuring they can easily locate charging points in close proximity, offering them peace of mind regarding "range anxiety," a persistent concern among EV users. While many EV owners charge their vehicles at home, access to charging stations at various locations throughout the day alleviates apprehensions about running out of power.
Kapil Shelke, Founder and CEO of Tork Motors, expressed the significance of this collaboration, stating, "The range anxiety is still a prevailing concern among EV users. While most people charge their vehicles at home, access to charging stations at other locations throughout the day minimises their worries."
As part of this initiative, the newly added charging points will be seamlessly integrated into the existing charging infrastructure map on Tork's mobile application. This integration eliminates the need for customers to download multiple applications, simplifying the process of locating and utilizing charging facilities. This advancement reflects the growing commitment to making electric mobility more accessible and user-friendly in India.
