India-Tanzania to work for the collective good

Shri Goyal highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's commitment to uniting the Global South, emphasizing the flourishing India-Africa partnership, which has been significantly advanced under his leadership. Prime Minister Modi's dedication to facilitating the African Union's full membership in the G20 has come to fruition, signifying a significant milestone.
The Union Minister underscored that Prime Minister Modi views the partnership between India and Tanzania as a defining and substantial relationship that will serve the welfare of two billion people across Africa and India, promoting inclusive and sustainable growth.
Shri Goyal also reflected on the deep historical ties between the two countries, with Mahatma Gandhi's formative experiences in Africa, highlighting the parallels in their respective freedom struggles. He acknowledged the collaboration of these nonaligned nations in decolonizing their economies. Presently, both nations engage in a range of significant activities, spanning from investments to startups, healthcare, and robust business and trade ties.
The India-Tanzania Investment Forum symbolizes the commitment of both countries to further elevate their partnership, fostering economic growth and mutual prosperity while continuing the legacy of cooperation that has spanned decades.
