Dept. of Chemicals and Petrochemicals ready for Campaign

Building on the achievements of its previous successful campaigns, the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals is once again mobilizing its resources for the commencement of Special Campaign 3.0. This campaign, set to be a significant endeavor, aims at improving workplace conditions and optimizing office space utilization.

The primary objective of Special Campaign 3.0 is to achieve a 100% scanning and subsequent conversion of all existing physical files into electronic files, with the purpose of freeing up valuable physical space that these files currently occupy. This move toward digital transformation is expected to enhance efficiency and create a more spacious and conducive work environment.

In addition to this transition, the department has also undertaken the task of reviewing all electronic files opened before 2022, with a specific focus on the 9,800 e-files in question. This comprehensive review ensures that electronic records are up to date and well-organized.

The Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals is not only committed to maintaining cleanliness within its own office but also to propagating the message of 'swachhta' (cleanliness) to the general public. In line with this goal, the department is organizing 255 cleanliness campaigns at various public locations across the country. These initiatives are designed to mainstream cleanliness activities in everyday life and promote a culture of hygiene and well-being.

Special Campaign 3.0 represents a commendable effort to streamline administrative processes, promote a cleaner environment, and instill a sense of responsibility towards swachhta among both the department's employees and the wider public.
