Cracking down on individuals who failed to comply with pollution mitigation norms, it was reported by officials that the Mumbai traffic authorities had imposed fines on 1,013 vehicles in the past three days. They were instructed to take stringent measures against the aforementioned vehicles and also against those lacking fitness certificates. Furthermore, they were directed to impose fines on individuals without updated Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificates.
