Kolkata Metro Services Disrupted After Body Found on Tracks

Kolkata Metro railway services experienced partial disruption after the discovery of a body on the tracks between Tollygunge and Rabindra Sarobar stations on Wednesday, as confirmed by officials.

The body was spotted by a driver at approximately 9:47 am, leading to the suspension of train services from Tollygunge to Kabi Subhas station. An official mentioned, "Efforts are underway to swiftly remove the body from the tracks.

The authorities have been notified, and we anticipate the restoration of train services shortly." Currently, Metro train services are operational between Dakhineswar and Maidan stations, as reported by the official.
