Sustainability as a Key Driver

The minister specifically mentioned the potential of alternative fuels like ethanol, methanol, and hydrogen to reduce emissions from construction and mining operations.

He also advocated for the use of precast concrete as a more sustainable alternative to traditional concrete.

Collaboration and Innovation for Enhanced Efficiency

Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), echoed Gadkari's call for collaboration and innovation. He stressed the need for private players in the construction sector to embrace automation, advanced technologies, and global best practices.
