Shree Cement Commissions World-Class Kiln in Rajasthan

Shree Cement Limited, a leading Indian cement manufacturer, has commissioned a new high-capacity kiln at its integrated production facility in Nawalgarh, Rajasthan. This state-of-the-art unit boasts a whopping daily capacity of 11,500 tonnes, placing it among the world's most powerful cement kilns.

The Rs 3,500 crore facility marks a significant step in Shree Cement's ambitious growth plans. The plant boasts an annual production capacity of 3.5 million tonnes, ready to cater to the growing demand for cement in the region.

But this isn't just about volume. Shree Cement is committed to innovation and sustainability. The Nawalgarh plant features a cutting-edge kiln equipped to utilize alternative fuels and optimize energy efficiency. Additionally, a 33 MW waste heat recovery power plant harnesses waste gases to generate electricity, minimizing reliance on fossil fuels.

"This state-of-the-art facility is the most modern plant of the company," said Neeraj Akhoury, Managing Director of Shree Cement. "It aligns perfectly with our pursuit of becoming an 80 million tonnes company by 2028."

The Nawalgarh plant's strategic location near the high-consumption markets of the National Capital Region, Punjab, and Haryana further strengthens its potential. This fifth integrated production facility solidifies Shree Cement's dedication to technological excellence and sustainable practices, cementing its position as a leader in the Indian cement industry.
