NHAI unveils ambitious Rs 2.1 tn BoT Model for 53 Highways Across India

A total of 5,214 km of road stretches with high traffic density are slated for development through the BoT model. Maharashtra is set to host the highest number of BoT projects, with 14 initiatives covering a distance of 522 km and costing Rs 394.77 billion. Uttar Pradesh will witness the construction of six highways spanning 1,344 km, with a total expenditure of Rs 503.33 billion.
Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Uttarakhand are slated to have six new highways covering 490 km under the BoT model, with an associated cost of Rs 156 billion. Additionally, Andhra Pradesh will see the implementation of seven projects, while Bihar will have four, collectively amounting to Rs 280.27 billion in investment.
