Telangana's Regional Ring Road Upgraded to NH

Following the meeting, a state government release disclosed that "Soon after the meeting, the union minister instructed the NHAI (National Highways Authority of India) officials to prepare the proposals to declare the southern section of RRR as a national highway." Apart from advocating for the RRR's national highway status, CM Revanth Reddy also appealed to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for permission to expand national highways in Telangana.
