Ola Electric receives ICAT's PLI Automotive certification

The first PLI ? Automotive Certificate from the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), Manesar, was awarded to Ola Electric Technologies under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme of MHI for Automobiles and Auto Components, as announced by Hanif Qureshi, Additional Secretary - MHI. S.J. Dhinagar, Head of Engineering & Sr. VP- Ola Electric, received the certificate in the presence of Shri Saurabh Dalela, Director-ICAT, and senior officials from MHI, ICAT, and Ola Electric.

Hanif Qureshi handed over the certificate to S.J. Dhinagar, expressing their recognition of Ola Electric's achievement in meeting the criteria of DVA of 50% (min.) for the Automotive PLI certificate with their Battery Electric Vehicle - 2W [Ola S1 Pro (Gen2)]. This signifies Ola Electric's dedication to the indigenization of advanced automotive technology products.

The media release highlighted that Ola Electric's commitment to the 'Make in Bharat' Abhiyan and strengthening the domestic production ecosystem is evident through the receipt of this certificate from ICAT.
