Pramac teams up with BlueBotics for Italy expansion

Pramac, in collaboration with BlueBotics, has introduced its inaugural line of mobile robot solutions under the brand X-ACT. The X-ACT mobile robots are being marketed through Pramac's recently established business division, Lifter Mobile Robotics. Presently, three variants of X-ACT mobile robots are being offered, with additional models in development.

Federico Piersimoni, the business group director of Pramac's Materials Handling Division, expressed that upon the inception of Lifter Mobile Robotics, the objective was to capitalise on their proficiency in materials handling equipment. They aimed to amalgamate cutting-edge technologies to ensure the products are readily deployable and dependable.

Piersimoni stated that during the process of automating and supervising the X-ACT solutions, it became evident that BlueBotics emerged as the optimal choice. He mentioned that BlueBotics' ANT navigation system is both precise and durable, necessitating minimal alterations to infrastructure during installation. Furthermore, their ANT server fleet manager is highly potent, enabling X-ACT robots to navigate intelligently and safely in dynamic environments, irrespective of payload specifications, and without encountering impasses.

Nicola Tomatis, the CEO of BlueBotics, expressed confidence in Pramac's esteemed reputation in the materials handling domain, advanced technology, and expansive global network. He anticipated that the X-ACT solutions would be a valuable addition to the market and foresees promising prospects for Lifter Mobile Robotics in the ensuing years.

The existing lineup comprises the HYBRIX collaborative mobile robot pallet truck, the APTIX autonomous pallet truck, and the AMRIX fully autonomous platform robot.
