DMRC contracts Ayub Ali & Sons for Metro upkeep
In a significant development, it was announced that the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) had awarded a crucial Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to Ayub Ali & Sons for an essential maintenance project. The project, which encompasses miscellaneous maintenance works from Udyog Bhawan to Millennium City Centre Metro Station and its associated buildings, has been deemed significant by the corporation.
Further details revealed that the Tender Reference Number for this project was OCM-1553. The Name of Work was described as the Civil Contract for miscellaneous maintenance works at Udyog Bhawan to Millennium City Centre Metro Station and allied buildings. The Awarded Value amounted to Rs 20.84 million, and the contract period was set at 15 months.
Providing a brief overview of the tender process, it was disclosed that in March 2024, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation had invited an Open e-tender through the e-tendering system, encompassing both the Technical and Financial bid. This invitation was extended to eligible applicants who fulfilled the qualification criteria as stipulated in clause 1.2 of the NIT for Contract: OCM-1553, titled ?Civil Contract for miscellaneous maintenance works at Udyog Bhawan to Millennium City Centre Metro Station and allied buildings.?
