A new telehandler on the market: JLG's new SkyTrak 8042

Larger single-page load charts, seatbelt engagement, operator presence, enhanced diagnostics, and a new, sophisticated control system that can manage load stability indication and show it with colour coding were all included in the new design.
Compared to earlier versions, the telehandler's speed has improved by 8%, and its number of hydraulic hoses and connections has lowered by 30%. With its 74-horsepower Deutz diesel engine, JLG lowered its emissions to Tier 4 Final, which does not necessitate the use of diesel exhaust fluid.

Hydrostatic transmission has inching functionality, which allows operators to run the boom at high speeds without shifting the transmission into neutral. A single electric-over-hydraulic joystick, which includes auxiliary hydraulic function and attachment tilt; a common coupler for use with all JLG and SkyTrak attachments; auxiliary hydraulic connections on the side of the boom head for quicker attachment change; an integrated tow hitch on the rear counterweight; and a boom-mounted lifting lug to handle a suspended load.
