PM Modi's Mumbai Visit to Inaugurate Civic Projects Worth Rs 74 billion

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Mumbai on July 13 to inaugurate several civic infrastructure projects valued at Rs 74.70 billion. According to civic officials, it has been announced that PM Modi will be holding a rally at the NESCO center in Goregaon. The BMC has already begun the process of making arrangements for the rally.

Civic officials have indicated that the PM will inaugurate the commencement of boring works for an underground tunnel as part of BMC's ambitious Goregaon Mulund Link Road (GMLR) project. The estimated cost of this particular project is said to be around Rs 63 billion.

In addition to this, Modi is also expected to inaugurate another significant project proposed by the BMC, which involves creating an elevated connector between Orange Gate and Grant Road in south Mumbai, costing approximately Rs 11.70 billion.

It was noted that in January of the previous year, PM Modi had inaugurated multiple BMC projects, which included a large-scale road concretization initiative and facilities for sewage treatment plants.
