Lilavati Hospital GIFT City to Offer Air Ambulance Services

Lilavati Hospital, located in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), is set to launch air ambulance services. This initiative aims to provide rapid medical transport and advanced healthcare facilities to patients across India and beyond.

The air ambulance service will feature fully equipped medical helicopters and aircraft, staffed with skilled medical professionals. This service is designed to cater to emergency situations, ensuring timely and efficient transfer of critically ill patients to Lilavati Hospital for specialised treatment.

Dr. Prakash Doshi, Director of Lilavati Hospital, emphasised the importance of this service in improving patient outcomes. He highlighted that the air ambulance would bridge the gap between remote areas and high-quality healthcare facilities, offering swift access to life-saving medical care.

Lilavati Hospital's air ambulance service will also facilitate the transfer of patients requiring specialised treatments not available in their local regions. This move aligns with the hospital's commitment to delivering comprehensive and accessible healthcare services.

The service will operate 24/7, ensuring that patients can be transported at any time, regardless of their location. In addition to emergency medical transport, the air ambulance will support organ transplant logistics, enhancing the hospital's capabilities in critical care.

This initiative marks a significant milestone for Lilavati Hospital, reinforcing its position as a leading healthcare provider. The air ambulance service is expected to commence operations within the next few months, offering a new dimension of healthcare accessibility and excellence.

Lilavati Hospital's commitment to innovation and patient care is evident through this new service, aiming to set a benchmark in the Indian healthcare sector.
