JK Lakshmi Cement posts net loss of Rs 192 Mn in Q2 FY25

JK Lakshmi Cement has reported net consolidated loss after tax of Rs 192 million in the quarter ended September 30, 2024. It had registered profit after tax of Rs 958.7 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing. The company's net consolidated total income stood at Rs 12.42 billion in Q2 FY25, a dip of 21.77 % from Rs 15.88 billion it recorded in the similar quarter last year. Vinita Singhania, chairperson & managing director of the company said, "the profitability of the company for the quarter has been impacted due to sharp drop in sales realization in our primary markets."
