Air Kerala to Launch Operations in June 2025

Air Kerala is set to begin operations in June 2025, with its first flight departing from Kannur International Airport. The airline, which has appointed key leadership, aims to offer regional flights within a 1.5-hour range. The airline plans to initially operate with ATR aircraft before expanding to narrow-body jets. It also has ambitions for international operations, positioning Kannur Airport as a major travel hub. Air Kerala received approval from the Ministry of Civil Aviation and is now seeking a DGCA permit.
