Resolve All Pending Land Partition Cases within Two Months: Mohali ADC

To address this issue, Viraj S Tidke, the additional deputy commissioner (ADC), who is temporarily serving as the deputy commissioner, instructed the district's revenue officers to resolve all pending land partition and Khasra Girdwari cases, which had been unresolved for over a year, within the next two months.
During the review of progress made by the revenue officers, in the presence of sub-divisional magistrates and district revenue officers, ADC Tidke emphasised the need for a special campaign to assist citizens visiting their offices regarding these cases. He stressed that the campaign should be time-bound and prioritise cases that had been pending for more than a year.
The ADC also warned that delays in mutation cases, especially those involving the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for acquired lands, could lead to future complications. He highlighted the importance of maintaining clean revenue records for affected landowners to ensure their future needs were met.
While reviewing the recoveries made by the revenue officers, the ADC emphasised the need to increase and expedite revenue and other recoveries. He instructed officers to personally follow up on court cases to prevent adverse remarks from the courts.
Additionally, while reviewing upcoming developments in the Zirakpur and Majri sub-tehsils and the modernisation of the sub-registrar office in Mohali, the deputy commissioner encouraged the SDMs and relevant revenue officers to stay in communication with the authorities to ensure timely approvals.
