Nissan to Expand India Lineup with Launch of 2 New Models

The all-new 7-seater B-MPV is scheduled to launch first as part of Nissan’s expanded product strategy. Designed to cater to Indian families, the MPV will focus on delivering value, quality, and comfort. The vehicle will feature muscular styling and a distinctive design approach aimed at standing out in the competitive MPV segment.
Following this, the 5-seater C-SUV is expected to launch around the fiscal year 2026. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Nissan Patrol, the new SUV is being designed to reflect Nissan’s global SUV DNA. It will come equipped with advanced proprietary technologies and premium craftsmanship, underscoring the company’s commitment to performance, durability, and innovation.
In terms of performance, Nissan Motor India reported a significant increase in its total sales for February 2025. The company sold 8,567 units during the month, marking a 44.76 per cent year-on-year growth, primarily driven by export performance. Domestic sales stood at 2,328 units, a decline from 2,755 units in February 2024. However, exports surged to 6,239 units, reflecting a 97 per cent year-on-year rise compared to 3,163 units in the same month last year.
These developments underline Nissan’s renewed focus on the Indian market, supported by a strong product pipeline and robust export performance.
