Greenfuel to supply advanced LNG tanks for OEMs in India

Greenfuel Energy Solutions has entered an exclusive partnership with Advanced Cryomotive Systems (ACS) to supply advanced LNG tanks for India’s OEM market. The deal strengthens Greenfuel’s clean mobility offerings with certified cryogenic tank technology.

Under the agreement, Greenfuel will distribute ACS’s UNECE R110-certified LNG tanks designed for automotive use. These tanks come equipped with top-tier safety and control systems, promising high durability, performance and reliability. Greenfuel will supply LNG 16 bar tanks, aligning with emerging industry standards for new LNG-powered vehicles.

This partnership reinforces Greenfuel’s push to drive sustainable transportation across India. “Our partnership with ACS brings the world’s best clean energy technologies to India,” said Akshay Kashyap, Managing Director, Greenfuel Energy Solutions.

The companies aim to localise production in line with the “Make in India” initiative. Founded in 2024, ACS is a joint venture between India-based Shell-N-Tube and Blue Basic, and Italy’s HVM, bringing global expertise in LNG cryogenics and clean mobility.
