Cyient Appoints Kavita Kurup as Chief People Officer

Cyient Ltd, a global intelligent engineering solutions provider, has announced the appointment of Kavita Kurup as its new Chief People Officer. Based at the company’s Hyderabad headquarters, Kurup will lead Cyient’s global human resources operations, aligning talent strategy and organisational effectiveness with the company’s future-ready vision.

Kurup brings over 25 years of international leadership across people practices and business transformation. She joins Cyient from UST, where she shaped the global people charter across thirty countries. Her expertise spans technology, BFSI, FMCG, media, and not-for-profit sectors.

Welcoming her, Executive Director and CEO Sukamal Banerjee said Kurup’s track record in cultivating agile organisations and aligning people strategy with business outcomes positions her perfectly for the role. A Harvard Business School alumna and certified executive coach, Kurup is known for building purpose-driven and high-performance cultures.
