INDEA aims to become a premier talent hub, driving innovation in the Indian automotive sector. The school will focus on advanced design, mobility solutions, and sustainable practices, playing a vital role in shaping India’s transition from a cost-driven to a quality-led automotive industry.
Speaking at the launch, Minister Gadkari emphasised the industry's role in achieving the Rs 417 trillion (USD 5 trillion) economy vision, highlighting the need for smart design, robust safety standards, R&D, and next-generation testing frameworks. He added, “The young talent trained at INDEA will transform knowledge into innovation and innovation into national strength.”
The institute is expected to support employment generation, enhance global competitiveness, and position India as a leader in automotive research and design.
