Fayat to Acquire Road Equipment Maker LeeBoy

French construction and industrial heavyweight Fayat Group has entered into an agreement to acquire LeeBoy, a prominent American manufacturer of road construction machinery, from Singapore-headquartered ST Engineering. Based in North Carolina, LeeBoy specializes in the production of asphalt pavers, compact motor graders, and a range of road maintenance equipment.

Fayat, which reported a turnover of $6.6 billion in 2024, has a global presence spanning 170 countries and operates across seven business divisions, including road equipment and civil engineering. The acquisition is anticipated to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025, subject to regulatory approval in the United States. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
