Hindware Opens Rs 1.7 Billion Plastics Plant In Roorkee
2025-07-04

Hindware has inaugurated its third manufacturing facility at Roorkee, Uttarakhand, to produce a broad range of CPVC, UPVC, SWR and PVC pipes and fittings, as well as overhead water storage tanks under the Truflo brand. Built with an investment of about Rs 1.7 billion, the plant opens with an annual capacity of 12,500 tonnes, taking the company’s total capacity—including its existing Sangareddy site—to 80,500 tonnes. Strategically located to serve northern and western India, the new unit is expected to sharpen Truflo’s distribution efficiency while creating roughly 200 direct and indirect jobs.
Chairman Sandip Somany said the expansion underscores Hindware’s commitment to quality and strengthens its leadership in the plastic piping market. The company’s channel now comprises more than 320 distributors and 30,000 dealers, supported by close engagement with over 100,000 plumbers nationwide.
