Sterling Holiday Resorts has launched Sterling GK Exotica, a 36-key boutique hotel located in Dehradun’s city centre on Saharanpur Road. This marks Sterling’s ninth resort in Uttarakhand and its second in Dehradun, reinforcing its strategy to expand across India’s Tier 2 cities with business-cum-leisure offerings.
The hotel caters to both corporate and leisure travellers, offering panoramic views of the Shivalik range and seamless connectivity to Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Haridwar, Roorkee and Saharanpur. Guests can choose from four room categories, including Executive Suites with skyline views.
Sterling GK Exotica features Skyline, Dehradun’s highest rooftop restaurant and bar, serving Himalayan herb-infused cuisine and sunset cocktails. It also offers Summit, a rooftop banquet venue for 100 guests, and Mirage, an indoor pillar-free hall for up to 150, ideal for meetings and events.
“This hotel strengthens our Himalayan circuit and brings two distinct experiences to Dehradun,” said Vikram Lalvani, MD & CEO, Sterling Holiday Resorts. Aman Bagga of Global Hospitality, the owning partner, added that Sterling’s brand strength and network will help position GK Exotica as Dehradun’s definitive urban retreat.
Sterling’s Uttarakhand portfolio now spans key destinations including Mussoorie, Rishikesh, Haridwar, Nainital, Rudraprayag, Lansdowne, and Corbett—anchoring its ‘drive-to’ holiday strategy across the Himalayan belt.
