Case’s Metallica-Inspired TV450B Loader Edition
2025-08-01
Case Construction Equipment has unveiled a limited-run TV450B compact track loader, specially designed in collaboration with Metallica frontman James Hetfield. Only 25 of these exclusive “Heavy Metal” Hetfield Limited Edition loaders will be available to pre-approved buyers.
The machine features a customised wrap inspired by Hetfield’s guitars, layered over its grey base paint. Decals and badging mimic Metallica’s iconic logo font, and a skull with wings design is drawn from one of Hetfield’s tattoos. The rear grille displays a Hetfield logo on a laser-cut steel nameplate fastened with anti-tamper screws. Inside the cab, a guitar-shaped badge displays the serial number, alongside Hetfield and Case branding on the seat.
“The Hetfield Limited Edition TV450B compact track loader is a showcase machine that’s outfitted to be as distinctive as James Hetfield’s legendary voice,” said Terry Dolan, Head of CNH Construction Brands, North America. “And, just like his unique ability to bring both force and finesse to every riff, this special edition CTL brings power and precision to the jobsite – in signature fashion – so operators can be more productive and crews can be more competitive.”
The radial-lift loader delivers 90 horsepower, with a rated operating capacity of 4,500 pounds. Its low ground pressure allows operators to handle heavy loads without damaging turf. High-flow hydraulics support advanced attachments like mulching heads, cold planers, and stump grinders.
The cab features switchable two-speed electric-hydraulic controls, an LCD monitor, an air-ride ventilated cloth seat, and HVAC with expansive window views. The machine also includes Case EZ Trac undercarriage with pivoting maintenance-free bogies that increase track contact and extend track life.
