Rs 650 Million Sanctioned For Three New Tourism Projects In Goa

The Ministry of Tourism has sanctioned Rs 650 million for three new projects in Goa under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme, focusing on sustainable and integrated tourism development.
The projects include the development of beach facilities, heritage site enhancement, and improved connectivity to popular tourist destinations. The initiative aims to attract more domestic and international visitors while preserving Goa’s cultural and natural heritage.
Union Minister for Tourism G. Kishan Reddy said the funding will strengthen Goa’s position as a premier tourist destination and create employment opportunities for local communities. The projects are expected to be completed in phases over the next few years.
