2025-08-18

Union Minister of Steel and Heavy Industries H.D. Kumaraswamy on Tuesday unveiled the official logo of Bharat Steel at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, alongside the event brochure and website. He was joined by Steel Secretary Sandeep Poundrik and senior ministry officials.
The launch took place during a workshop for the secondary steel sector, reaffirming the government’s commitment to growth, innovation and sustainability across the steel value chain. Bharat Steel is the Ministry of Steel’s flagship international conference-cum-exhibition on the steel ecosystem, scheduled for 16–17 April 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The event will bring together global industry leaders, policymakers, technology providers and investors to showcase India’s capabilities, promote green and sustainable steelmaking, and explore opportunities in both domestic and international markets.
Planned highlights include thematic sessions, sectoral and country roundtables, a CEOs’ conference, technology showcases, buyer–seller meets, and strong participation from both primary and secondary steel producers. With its vision of becoming the largest steel exhibition in India and beyond, Bharat Steel seeks to position the country as a hub of innovation, collaboration and investment in the global steel industry.
